Collaboration between FPA-ID, Academics, and Practitioners

FPA-ID and the Long-Term Commitment to Public Transparency

The Indonesian Apartment Residents Forum (FPA-ID) was established with a clear vision: to promote transparency, accountability, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in various aspects of social life, particularly those related to vertical housing, communities, and organizational governance. However, in its development, FPA-ID views that issues of transparency and disputes do not stand alone. Many conflicts—whether in the housing sector, social organizations, or institutions—are rooted in a lack of education, weak governance literacy, and a lack of alignment between objectives, processes, and results. On that basis, FPA-ID is actively involved in and supports cross-sector collaboration, including with the academic world and scientific publishing, as part of its tangible contribution to public education and nation-building.   FPA-ID Collaboration in the OBE Implementation Seminar In order to strengthen this participatory role, FPA-ID is collaborating and supporting a seminar themed “Implementation of Outcome Based Education (OBE)” organized by Deepublish, with the involvement of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (FEB UPNVJ). OBE is an educational approach that emphasizes:

clarity of learning outcomes, measurability of results, transparency of academic processes, and accountability of educational institutions. These values have a strong alignment with the principles of GCG which have been the foundation of FPA-ID’s thinking and advocacy, whether in the context of vertical housing, community organizations, or general public governance.

Strategic Role of FEB UPNVJ in Outcome-Based Education

As a credible and widely recognized public higher education institution, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) through the Faculty of Economics and Business plays a vital role in the development and implementation of outcome-based education that is relevant to the needs of society and the workforce. FEB UPNVJ focuses not only on academic aspects but also on strengthening the values of:

professionalism, ethics, and institutional governance. Information and materials related to this activity can be accessed through the official FEB UPNVJ website: https://feb.upnvj.ac.id/

Presence of Cross-Disciplinary Figures: Practitioners, Academics, and Authors

One of the main strengths of this seminar is the involvement of figures from various scientific and professional backgrounds, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach in building an education and public literacy ecosystem.

Tokoh Budayawan

Thomas Alfan A.P. Par – Author and Cultural Observer Through his book “Panahan Tradisional Nusantara” (Traditional Archery of the Archipelago), Thomas Alfan A.P. Par presents a profound and structured cultural perspective. This work not only highlights tradition but also demonstrates how local knowledge can be systematically packaged, documented, and educational—a principle that aligns with the spirit of OBE and the preservation of national values.

Andry Septianto, S.T., M.M. – Academician and Industry Practitioner As the author of “Analisa Perancangan Kerja Lanjutan” (Advanced Work Design Analysis), Andry Septianto is widely recognized among academicians and industry practitioners. His book explores analytical approaches, work efficiency, and modern work system design, which are relevant to both the industrial world and outcome-based higher education.

Synergy with Legal Practitioners, Religious Figures, and Other Experts

The Deepublish seminar and ecosystem are also known for involving authors and thinkers from various backgrounds, including:

  • legal practitioners, who emphasize the importance of regulatory certainty and accountability;
  • religious figures, who underline the values of ethics, trustworthiness, and social responsibility;
  • cross-disciplinary academics, who play a role in the development of methodology and curriculum;
  • as well as professional experts and authors, who bridge theory and field practice.

This diversity of backgrounds enriches the discourse and strengthens the message that transparency and good governance are cross-sectoral needs. All works by these authors can be accessed through the Deepublish Store, as one of the leading academic and educational publishing platforms in Indonesia.

Relevance of OBE to Governance and Dispute Prevention

For FPA-ID, the OBE approach has broad relevance, not limited to the world of education. The principles of OBE—clear goals, transparent processes, and result-based evaluation—are essential foundations in:

  • dispute prevention,
  • strengthening public trust,
  • as well as improving the quality of organizational and community governance. This is also the focus of FPA-ID regarding vertical housing issues, where lack of role clarity, weak transparency, and minimal accountability often lead to prolonged conflict.

Collaboration for National Education and Literacy

Through support for academic activities such as the OBE Implementation seminar, FPA-ID reaffirms its commitment as a collaborative partner in public education, not merely as an advocacy forum. This collaboration between communities, academics, publishers, and practitioners is expected to:

  • increase governance literacy,
  • strengthen the culture of transparency,
  • as well as encourage the birth of a critical, ethical, and responsible generation.

Closing

The collaboration between FPA-ID, Deepublish, and FEB UPNVJ is a true reflection of FPA-ID's vision in building a more transparent and knowledgeable society. By combining academic approaches, professional practices, and ethical values, FPA-ID believes that education is the main key to minimizing conflict and creating sustainable governance.
